We are focusing on three main sectors: internet and communications technology, clean and green technology, and technology applications in life science and agriculture.
Please come out to our next What We Do session at the Penticton Innovation Centre (PIC) (583 Duncan Avenue @ Okanagan College) on Thursday June 14, 2012. These sessions are run every two weeks, they are free, and they are informal. Come and learn about what we do to help your business start and grow or just to come to learn about being part of the entrepreneurial community.
There are two new companies who are part of our Venture Acceleration Program in Penticton, Big Bear Software and Dynacode Software. We now have six companies who are part of the PIC, so the centre is starting to buzz!
After only being here a few short weeks, I’m still learning about the energy and activity of Penticton and South Okanagan. I’m here to become an active part of this community and help to develop the entrepreneurial community.
