StreetText Enters New Markets, Grows and Hires!

Venture Acceleration Program (VAP) Company, StreetText, is growing, hiring and expanding into new markets.

They are on track to double their revenue compared to last year’s numbers and have recently hired a whiz Programmer to help them with their recently secured contracts.

Streettext primarily provide Mobile Marketing solutions to Real Estate agencies. They have worked with numerous large companies, creating product solutions to improve targeted marketing offerings and systems.

Their signature app allows house hunters to scan a QR code or text a number from a ‘for sale’ sign to receive information on the property direct to their phone. The estate agent can then text the new user and keep in touch. This lead generator gives estate agencies a competitive edge and provides instant information to the user.

Stephen Whiting, Director at StreetText, said, “We are super excited for the future! All the hard work is done and the foundations are in place – it is all onwards and upwards from now on! We plan to build on what we have and create more innovative apps that will help businesses grow. The technology is all there now.”

Users can scroll through information sent via text on properties for sale

Steve noted that since creating their original app, they see several spin off opportunities in related markets.

One of which is their new application that will provide text solution for Stratas. Launching this week, the app will enable Strata managers to send out automated texts to all of its members informing them of, for example, an elevator failure or fire alarm testing. There are 1.1 million buildings in Canada with over 5 storeys’ so the market is vast.

Another area StreetText wish to explore is the m-commerce market. They are currently working on an amazing (top secret) concept that will revolutionize the way that people shop.

Steve said, “AO has helped us in many ways including making the right connections, getting to know other companies on the VAP, overall support and the community aspect is huge. We are always in the loop for new events and opportunities.

“AO also helped us to connect to funding sources such as IRAP which was a huge benefit to us.” StreetText secured funding through IRAP in April 2012.

By entering into new markets, StreetText plan to grow their business and become a leader in the m-commerce and real estate Mobile solutions.
