Be Part Of BC’s First Virtual Tech Career Fair

Vancouver has a lot of cool job fairs, however, a lot of the time it’s tough to be physically present at all of them due to work and other commitments. Sometimes, one might just want to pop their heads in, but that requires paying for the whole ticket and physically being present. On Tuesday July 24th,  from 11-2, you’ll be able to steer around some of these barriers by attending Vancouver’s first fully virtual career fair.

The BC Tech Fair showcases BC’s fastest growing technology companies to candidates all over the world.

Growlab, Vancouver’s startup and accelerator, and KarmaHire are sponsoring the BC Tech Fair, a virtual career fair that showcases BC’s fastest growing technology companies to students and new graduates all over the world. Candidates can explore BC’s  top tech companies via an interactive map, browse company booths,  take fun challenges to show their skills, and interact with company representatives using social media and live chat.

Currently there are over 20 companies (Hootsuite, A Thinking Ape, Sophos, Parnerpedia and Food.ee etc.), and over 450 candidates pre-registered.

Check out bctechfair.ca for more information. Here is a  sample company page, and details on booking your booth.
