Curatio Networks announced today they are a finalist in a $5 million global venture challenge and have been inducted into the ‘CIX Top 20 Early’ program.

Curatio, the rapidly growing social health plugin, has been selected to attend the VentureClash pitch event at Yale University on October 17, 2019. Curatio beat out more than 300 companies from 20 countries to be named a top 10 finalist at this year’s competition.

In addition, Curatio have been named as a Top 20 Early company by CIX. The rigorous selection process for both has seen Curatio go through numerous rounds of judging and analysis by industry leaders and experts.

“We are thrilled to have made it into both of these prestigious programs” said Curatio Founder and CEO Lynda Brown-Ganzert. “At Curatio, we’re on a mission to ensure no patient is alone on their health journey. Our privacy and regulatory social plugin is being used in over 85 countries by some of the world’s leading health organizations. We know that social is the missing piece for healthcare transformation and we are excited to take the stage at these events to show that private, personalized and highly valuable social networks can significantly improve health behaviors, adherence, wellbeing and quality of life”.

VentureClash brings together early-stage digital health, insurance technology (insurtech), industry 4.0 and financial technology (fintech) companies from across the globe to compete for investment, mentoring, and customer introductions. A panel of prominent judges will determine the distribution of the $5 million investment award pool.

“We congratulate all our finalists on their success in the competition thus far and look forward to the final pitch event next month at Yale.” said Matt McCooe, CEO of Connecticut Innovations.

CIX is an annual curation program and 2-day conference which showcases Canada’s most promising early stage and scaling startups. In its 12th year, invited delegates are North American VCs, corporates, private equity investors and advisors.

“This year’s cohort of early and growth-stage companies is very impressive and we look forward to showcasing them at CIX.” said Lauren Linton, Executive Director of CIX.
