Kelowna Women in Business Launches First Annual Rise Awards Featured Image

Kelowna Women in Business (KWIB) is excited to announce the launch of the inaugural Rise Awards. This new award initiative was designed to be a beautiful celebration of all local women of influence and individuals impacting change in our community. 

Set to be a prestigious and inspiring event for all, Keynote Speaker Allison Grafton – Founder and CEO of Rockwood Custom Homes and recipient of the RBC Women of Influence Momentum Award will be joined on stage by Co-MC’s Laura Didyk – Vice President & National Lead Women Entrepreneurs of Business Development Bank of Canada, and Chris Walker – host of CBC Radio One British Columbia. 
 
Debuting two awards up for grabs – Woman of The Year, and Change Maker – nominations opened online to the public November 1, 2019 and run until February 5th; winners to be announced at the gala the evening of March 18th, 2020 from 5-9PM
 

Celebrating 27 years as a not-for-profit society, KWIB recognizes the need to shine a spotlight on the achievements of the remarkable collective of mentors, leaders, aspiring businesswomen, professionals, AND youth doing BIG things locally.
