Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, presents the first-ever Stay At Home Gala on March 27th at 7pm. The first-of-its-kind event will host all the familiar elements: optional dinner (delivered to your door), game-changing speakers, a silent auction, and much more.

Presented by Valley First, the evening event will unite people from all over the Okanagan community with the aim to strengthen community efforts to manage the effects of the COVID-19 virus. 

Lane Merrifield will be the keynote speaker of the first virtual gala. The newest “dragon” to join CBC’s hit show Dragon’s Den, Lane Merrifield is one of Canada’s leading tech entrepreneurs. Joining Merrifield, is a talented lineup of musicians and speakers, including Shane Nolan, Rawle James, Nicole Rustad, Shane Lapp, and Neil Pretty. The virtual gala will welcome Robert Fine as its emcee.

The novel event was designed to support local businesses. In addition to raising funds directly for the Okanagan Foundation, the event encourages its participants to purchase gift cards to local businesses. Those who purchase gift cards will have the chance to have their card amount doubled by Valley First as part of the prize draws.
