Intellectual Property Workshop

Gain a better understanding of intellectual property and its importance in protecting your business.

Ideal participant: Entrepreneurs with a business or a business idea.

Key benefit to participating: Gain a better understanding of intellectual property and its importance in protecting your business.

Intellectual Property (IP) can be the most valuable asset a business has, yet while we daily come into contact with intellectual property (such as when we listen to a song, use our iPhone or order a Big Mac) many of us do not understand what constitutes intellectual property.

Designed to give you a greater understanding of why you need to protect your brand and innovation, join presenter Vanessa Carle for a basic overview of the different types of Intellectual Property including, copyright, trademarks, patents and industrial designs - what it is, how to protect it and why it's valuable.

Light refreshments will be provided at the session.
