What is the Leader’s Discipline?
The Leader’s Discipline is an intensive two-day introduction to a leadership approach to creating culture. A personal operating system is created to build a culture of accountability, marked by ever-increasing levels of performance, learning and engagement. Guided by experienced leaders who have used coaching to transform their own teams and organizations, The Leader's Discipline invites leaders and emerging talent to learn about, explore and experience coaching.
Over the course of their experience participants will:
• Notice how mental state influences performance, learning and engagement;
• Practice and build on their ability to coach leaders and teams of leaders;
• Investigate when coaching is most effective;
• Address a current leadership issue they face;
• Increase their ability and confidence in giving and receiving honest feedback.

Ian Chisholm - Founding Partner and President
Ian founded Roy Group in 2004 with the intent of making the above statement his own life's work and a vehicle for assisting others to find theirs. His greatest fulfillment comes from seeing the multiplying effect that is achieved when honourable people from all walks of life invite each other into leadership. His twist on the Golden Rule is focused on personal conduct: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto others." Believing that every achievement makes one capable of even greater accomplishment, Ian has become a personal resource to clients at the President level, where his ability to connect with people and relate ideas through story engenders deep personal and cultural change.
Yolanda Moran - Associate
As a Roy Group Practitioner Yolanda Moran brings over 20 years of corporate operational leadership experience and a depth of organizational understanding for leading growth and transformational change. A skilled facilitator and coach, Yolanda has a passion for helping individuals develop their own leadership practice using a meaningful and applicable approach. Her philosophy on leadership focuses on “getting real” about reality, building strength vs. focusing on weakness, maintaining inclusivity and personal accountability at every level of a team and an organization.
