Organization Description: BlueGreen Architecture is a multifaceted, mid-sized team, of creative and forward-thinking individuals. We work from two collaborative studio environments located in Kamloops and Kelowna. Our practice is dedicated to solution based, intelligent and sustainable designs; striving for design initiatives that preserve and enhance the environment as well as the surrounding community. We offer over thirty years of experience with private sector developments that has led the firm to an imperative balance between client requirements, user groups, and the unique environmental concerns of each project site.

Job Description: BlueGreen Architecture Inc. is looking for a full-time Operations Administrator for our Kelowna team, offering the necessary support to our growing branch and assist in linking our two locations. The successful candidate will have excellent client service skills, assist team members in attaining new projects, manage project schedules and offer administrative support by way of the following:


• Actively search and track relevant bid opportunities daily (such as BC Bid, Merx, etc) and review with Business Development team
• Plan, organize and direct all elements of an RFP (Request for Proposal) response
• Work with leadership to create impactful presentations both digitally and hardcopy print

• Reception: greet walk in traffic, answer phones, maintain professional appearance of physical office space
• Manage calendars and appointments; organize and coordinate meetings, events and travel plans
• Update and maintain inventory of office supplies, filing/archiving and materials library
• Co-manage our social media platforms and assist in developing our online presence

Education and Experience:

• A Degree or Diploma in either Marketing, Communications, Design, Construction or Business

• 2 years of professional administrative, marketing and proposal writing experience

Digital/ Creative Skills

• MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator)

• Social media management – Instagram & linkedin

• Website management – Wix platform
• Photography skills
• Time Management Software - BQE CORE software

• Knowledge of Computer assisted drawings programs is a bonus.

This role is Ideally suited for someone who brings their A game, has strong written, communication, design fundamentals, and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities at any time. If you are an ambitious, self starter and naturally curious and up to date with the latest news and trends in the design and marketing world we want you on our team. Prior experience in the Architectural and/or Interior Design, Engineering or Construction (AEC) field or Professional Services industry is an asset but not a prerequisite.
