icInfrastructure is looking to hire an Adult Learning and Development Specialist to join our team to help deliver an exciting consulting project for a national client. The project is to continue development of a competency framework and an associated competency management program that will provide municipalities across Canada with a clear overview of everything they need to develop and hire effective ‘infrastructure asset management practitioners’. We are producing an industry leading knowledge product that will benefit the thousands of communities across Canada that are struggling to implement effective asset management and infrastructure planning practices. It will help them with staff training and development, hiring to fill gaps in their organization, as well as writing more appropriate job descriptions. The project is already approved by a number of national associations and partners, including the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
We need an Adult Learning and Development / Human Resources Specialist who wants to be involved in a real project that will benefit a national industry. The first stage of the project is now complete with the public release of the Asset Management Competency Framework for Canadian Communities (AMCF) published and free to download at www.cnam.ca/AMCompetencyFramework. You’ll be moving the project and the AMCF through the next phase of development. Preferably based in Kelowna, BC. We have an office downtown at CoLab and do work remotely too! There is an option to work completely remotely for the right candidate.
