The Role

AO is seeking a Program Coordinator to support our entrepreneurs and early-stage companies. This person will be essential to ensuring the successful delivery of the Venture Acceleration Program in an effort to support one of our three areas of focus—Coach the Leaders. The successful individual will have a passion for entrepreneurship, a growth mindset, a desire to help, and have the attention to detail superpower. 


Key Functions:

  • Coordination of the Venture Acceleration Program including initial application assessment, intake process and meeting, onboarding, admin and reporting

  • Ensure client success by being the point of contact to all startup entrepreneurs, connecting them to mentors, resources and our support network 

  • Provide event support for various entrepreneurial events and activities that support effective program delivery and community building (some evening shifts required)

  • Attend community events and help drive leads and build relationships with community members, including efforts in other regions

  • Support with lead generation initiatives online and offline 

  • Listen and assess the needs and challenges of entrepreneurs to adapt programs to align with their needs

  • Support the development, implementation, and improvement of the Venture Acceleration Program

  • Measure and report on program effectiveness and feedback


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including spelling, grammar and punctuation and comfortable using technology to communicate

  • Proven attention to detail through prior work or life experience

  • Ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information a must

  • Hard-working, self-starter who can take initiative with low supervision

  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks

  • Excellent listener
