Program Lead, RevUP

Accelerate Okanagan is looking for a talented individual to join our Program team. This role is designed to ensure the successful delivery and scaling of our RevUP program in an effort to build successful tech and tech-enabled companies and to foster and facilitate a collaborative technology community.

This new, full-time role focuses primarily on delivering our RevUP program both within the Okanagan as well as supporting partnered accelerators to deliver programs elsewhere in British Columbia. The Revup Program Lead reports to and is supported by the Program Manager. Program implementation and delivery, including initial client intake, founder engagement, ongoing assessment and reporting, through to post-program alumni engagement is being left in your capable hands.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver RevUP within the Okanagan as well as support partnered accelerators to deliver programs in other regions of British Columbia. RevUP is a program focused on supporting growth stage tech and tech-enabled companies
  • Recruit, onboard, and then support companies as they participate in AO programs
  • Support the delivery of Startup Basics both within the Okanagan and with partnered accelerators in other regions of British Columbia
  • Collaboratively engage with staff, founders, partners, and executives in residence and provide orientation to the myriad of information, programs, and services available to developing businesses
  • Provide event support for various entrepreneurial events and activities that support effective program delivery and community building
  • Leverage tools and networks to help individuals, startups and high growth companies with your strong organizational, communications, and facilitation skills
  • Travel (when needed) to ensure those executing the program are being supported
  • Capture feedback and metrics from program participants and report to various stakeholders

What you’ve done:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting founders and startups. Experience working with growth stage companies a strong asset
  • Sales experience and comfort leading a sales process is ideal
  • Ability to exercise good judgement in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information is a must
  • Entrepreneurial experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering effective presentations to diverse stakeholders. Comfortable with a facilitation role
  • Post-secondary school completed or equivalent work experience
