Trellis enables charities and their supporters (champions) to make beautiful fundraising event and campaign pages, while saving them time on the backend by automating tax receipting and payment processing.Great! What will I do as a Sales Lead?
Trellis started 12 months ago and in that time we have learned about our customer, built out an MVP, launched a successful test of the product and are now gearing up for our full product launch come April 3rd.
Your role is to take the lead in developing a predictable revenue engine with help from the CEO and Customer Success Manager. The goal is for you to grow into and manage the sales for Trellis. You will start by developing the top of the funnel as an SDR, with the CEO acting as the account manager and we have a customer success lead to nurture our clients. Once we’ve created and validated your role, we will hire an SDR and move you into an account executive/manager role.We are looking for an individual that:
Is entrepreneurial and doesn’t mind wearing many hats
Wants to grow into a sales manager role
Can take initiative to develop process, iterate and test
Can or wants to learn how to manage a team, set targets and come up with strategies to achieve those targets
Can motivate team members
Has sales development experience:
Identifying and qualifying leads and opportunities
Researching contacts via lists, web and social media
Connecting with prospects over email and phone
Converting qualified leads and introducing them to Account Executives
Analyzing their performance and personalizing their process
Working closely with the sales team to improve the sales process
Following up and nurturing prospects until they are ready to engage with Account Executives
