tekmar Control Systems Ltd. is an electronic control design and manufacturing company located in Vernon, BC. We are currently looking to hire 15-20 in total - Fulltime Seasonal ‘Production Assemblers’ to join our team. We are hiring immediately. And we will continue to hire 1/2 employees per month; as we ramp up for our busy season. (May - Dec). And for those demonstrating good employee skills, we also have year round, stable regular assembler opportunities with increased opportunities for pay, good benefits and a company savings plan!
This work is 40 hrs/week; Mon–Frit (day time hours: 7 am – 4 pm); with occasional OT shifts and pay.

Production Assemblers are responsible for quality assembly of our products on the manufacturing floor. This includes packaging of products with attention to detail and meeting scheduled deadlines. Work is performed at individual workstations where hand – eye coordination and dexterity is essential, and required. Being able to follow detailed instructions and diagrams is also required. All employees must be able to safely use and operate various small hand tools.
Principle duties include assembly of products in our manufacturing plant. Production assembly team members work in a warm, open, clean and organized environment where effective interpersonal relationships, communication skills and team building abilities are required. The working environment is comfortable and employees work at various work stations performing different production assembly jobs in order to assemble our different product lines. Standing and sitting along with using high levels of attention to detail are important as is being able follow written instructions or diagrams; ability to perform tasks with hands and; provide quality work in specified time periods.

A High School Grade 12 graduation or GED is a minimum requirement.
The successful candidates will be a team player, have an attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Training is provided to ensure that each person is supported and successful. Any previous manufacturing or electronics assembly experience is an asset; however is not required.
