Description
Formerly the Corporate Citizenship Director at Disney Interactive, for almost ten years Nicole drove the corporate social responsibility vision and strategy across multiple lines of business including Disney’s Club Penguin, Maker Studios and Disney.com. During her time at Disney, she created bold, immersive programs in the digital, social, and real-world space. She pioneered the vetting process for charitable grants and the cause marketing process for The Walt Disney Company. Nicole worked with business partners and non-profit partners conservation and environment, nonprofit partners like Rare Conservation, Wildlife Conservation Network, and Conservation International alongside the Disney Conservation fund team to support innovative, grassroots projects globally. She created award-winning programs that inspired hundreds of millions to take action to make a difference through a variety of innovative, global campaigns like Hour of Code and Coins For Change. Nicole has served as an advisor to multiple NGO’s, foundations and social enterprises over the past twenty years. She is a guest lecturer at Colleges and Universities on CSR, social impact and sustainability. Prior to Disney, she was a valued certified financial planner specializing in estate planning and risk management. She has travelled to over 40 countries vetting projects, meeting with individuals, communities and organizations tackling the worlds most pressing problems. Now, through Vortovia, Nicole consults to business, non-profits, foundations and individuals who want to scale and innovate to drive long-term impact.
